Come learn from Sonoma County Parks Educator Ellie Muelrath, the stories behind many of the historic school houses which dot our landscapes.

In the mid-1880's there were 133 one-room schools in Sonoma County. Three in our own neighborhood nearby are still in use!

Students numbered 12-50. Teacher taught all grades and all subjects. Many of these schools can be seen today and are beautiful relics of our past.
